Wild Tussar Silk-Cotton Scarf
Wild-Tussar silk handwoven* with white cotton warp. Golden-hued silk with natural brown striations. Tussar is a wild silk spun by moths found in India and South Asia. Ends finished with fringe. Wear as a scarf or shawl. Printed floral pattern created with tataki-zome (hammer-dyed) flowers.
All plants used in the botanical printing process were cultivated and foraged in the lovely Hudson Valley region of NY State.
